Welcome to Barbian

Albert Einstein said “Imagination is more important than knowledge” and frankly… he should know.

We at BARBIAN apply both imagination and knowledge in Einstein-like proportions and we encourage the artist to do the same.

We arm them with a sense of creative freedom and support within a contemporary business framework using a network of local and international associations with other like minded producers, promoters, agents, record labels and music publishers..

About Barbian

BARBIAN - is an independently minded artist management company, based in London. It was founded by company director Bruce Pawsey in 2003 and is the result of his 20 years of practical experience in the music industry..

“Like many in this business, I love music. I’m lucky enough to be working in an industry where my passion is also my business… but let’s face it.. a love of music is not enough. Nowadays, survival skills are also required."

"Having served in many areas of the music industry - as musician, signed artist, tour manager and manager - I have been a part of some great successes and witnessed some atrocious failures.
Sometimes they start out looking like the same thing but ultimately the successes are usually a result of unique talent, artistic sincerity and hard work. If you don’t have these or the capability of developing them then [click here]."

In the years since, they have been major contributors on three Tina Arena albums including the French double platinum Un Autre Unives (SonyBMG - 2005), the fully orchestrated Songs of Love & Loss (EMI- 2007) and more recently 7 Vies, Tina's current French hit. [Discography]
